The Brexit will have enduring impacts on UK-France relations in the field of economy and trade，defense and security，finance and energy sector. It will leave no winners in UK-France trade relations，especially in upper France and Brittany. But Britain and France will continue to conduct defense and security cooperation in aerospace，military research，the Iran nuclear deal，and the Sahel region in west Africa. On finance，despite the impact of the Brexit on London’s status as a financial centre，Paris still has to struggle to replace it. In the field of energy，the challenges for UK-France relations mainly come from energy supply security and regulation.
