This paper analyzes the current situation of cultural mutual trust between China and Indonesia，and points out that while the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries continues to expand，people to people and cultural exchanges continue to advance，but due to the differences in politics，economy，social culture and other aspects，there are still obvious deficiencies in cultural mutual trust between the two countries. Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao are relatively close to Indonesia geographically and have many historical and cultural origins with Indonesia，so they can play a leading role in promoting cultural mutual trust between the two countries. This paper analyzes the geographical and cultural proximity advantages of Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao and Indonesia，and puts forward specific measures and suggestions to give full play to the advantages of Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao to promote mutual trust between the two countries in terms of non-governmental organizations cooperation and exchange，tourism industry cooperation，etc.
