In the recent years,the overall situation of China’s digital media projects’ overseas distribution and dissemination is not optimistic,but the Malaysian market is one of the few successful cases. This paper takes the Malaysian market as a classic case. It starts with the cultural background,and analyses the performance of Chinese digital media products in Malaysia from the aspects of film,animation,game,etc. In addition,it provides references and inspirations for the future plan of Chinese cultural industries going abroad.
