This paper summarizes the background and significance of research on the management of government investment and the problems in government investment management in China，and discusses the advanced experience of developed countries. Then this paper divides the whole process of government investment management into several stages，and puts forward the main contents and management measures for each stage. Finally，this paper presents specific policy proposals for how to further strengthen government investment management.
