In 2017，the political situation in Malaysia was very tense. The ruling and opposition parties actively prepared for the general election，and political issues emerged one after another. Both ruling and opposition parties split and the political alliance between the East Malaysia and West Malaysia parties was constantly reorganized. The “Barisan Nasional” consolidated its power base，and responded to the challenge of the new opposition coalition “Pakatan Harapan”. The new opposition alliance is a strong power against the Barisan Nasionaldominated ruling coalition.
