Andry Nirina Rajoelina，former Interim President，has won Madagascar's general election and returned to power.This paper analyzes the vital events happened during this election，and points out that the “westernized” democratic election in Madagascar is more of a game of partisan interest groups，which has brought social fragmentation to this poor country and seriously hindered its social and economic development.Since taking office，Rajoelina has announced his policy agenda and proposed his development plan，which will bring a new development opportunity for Madagascar.However，there will be many challenges to the successfully implementation of the plan and achievement of the desired results.
