2016～2017年间，罗马尼亚按新修订的选举法举行了大选，政府进行了多次更迭，各政党之间斗争激烈，国内政治存在较大风险。在经济领域，2016年罗马尼亚经济持续增长，已成为欧盟成员国中经济增长最快的国家，几大支柱型产业对国民经济的发展起到了较大的拉动作用。在外交和安全领域，罗马尼亚十分重视与美国的战略伙伴关系，注重黑海地区的稳定和安全；对华关系也是罗马尼亚外交战略中的一个优先方向，“一带一路”倡议和“16+1”合作机制促进了两国高层的交流，同时也将在两国经贸、基建、能源等方面增加合作。近年来，罗马尼亚面临人口数量下降过快、社会老龄化以及劳动力逐年下降等社会问题。
According to the newly revised election law，Romania held a parliamentary election during 2016-2017. The frequent changes of government and the fierce rivalry between politic parties have made domestic politics much more confusing. In the economic field，Romania maintained a sustainable growth of economy in 2016，which has already been the fastest growing economy among EU member states. Several major pillar industries have been playing a stimulating role in the rapid development of national economy in Romania. In the field of diplomacy and security，Romania attaches great importance to its strategic partnership with the United States and pays attention to the stability and security in the Black Sea area. Romania’s relations with China are also a priority in Romania’s diplomatic strategy. The Belt and Road Initiative and the “16+1” Cooperation Mechanism promote high-level exchanges between the two countries，and at the same time，increase cooperation in the field of trade，infrastructure and energy. In recent years，Romania has also faced major social problems such as the declining population，the aging of the society and the declining labor force.
