In 2018 the political trends in Slovenia have seen ups and downs. In March，Prime Minister Miro Cerar suddenly resigned，the parliament was dissolved，and the National Election Commission announced an early general Parliamentary election. The political new star Marjan Šarec won the election and struggled to form a new cabinet，causing uncertainty in its future. One hundred days after the new government took office，the social situation in Slovenia became stable and economic development started to move forward.
