European economic conditions have deteriorated rapidly since the third quarter of 2018. This slowdown mainly reflects the risks of sluggish global economic growth, increasing trade frictions, uncertainty of Brexit process and rising geopolitical tensions. In response to the slowing growth momentum,ECB turns to pursuing monetary easing measures, and some major economies have announced plans for more active fiscal polices,EU is also negotiating FTAs with some partners. Sluggish growth in Europe will continue in 2020 as the global trade tensions and geopolitical risks persist.
