香港青年认同观的特征可从国家认同、香港发展、核心价值、政治参与、认知行为五方面进行分析。解决香港青年认同问题，应契合当代意识形态“情绪政治”的特点，重视政治情绪与民众认同的影响关联，并以“情绪管理”为新的路径，注重青年生命体验的情感认同与生命历程境遇的正向改善，达致香港青年对国家、政府、社会与自身持积极心态，且整体认同。
The characteristics of identities of youths in Hong Kong can be analyzed from following five aspects：the identification with the state of China，Hong Kong's development，the core values，political participation and cognitive behaviors. In order to solve the problem of the identities of youths in Hong Kong，we need to realize the characteristics of the politics of emotions related to contemporary ideologies，pay attention to the relations between political emotions and identities of people，and improve positively youths' emotional identities derived from their life experiences and the situations of their life courses. As a result，youths in Hong Kong will identify with the state，the governments，the society and the self with positive mentalities.
