Thailand is a multi-ethnic country with many outstanding intangible cultural heritages. This paper mainly introduces the intangible culture heritages with classification and characteristics of them. By introducing the responsible ministries and office of the Thai government，this study also talks about the laws，regulations and measures related to intangible cultural heritage protection. Although the protection of intangible heritage Thailand took off comparatively late，progress in the past decade has been quite satisfying. Generally the field yields a trend of diversification，combination of cultural effects with economic benefits and tourism effects. This is due to the joint efforts of the Thai Royal family，the government and the people to promote the development and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
